January 2019  – Present

  • Project manage, develop, and facilitate fully online, asynchronous, sequential workshops on hybrid and online course development as a part of a semester-long course development program
  • Consult with faculty on measurable objectives, course alignment, assignments, motivating students, and facilitation techniques
  • Facilitate webinars on instructional design, accessible instructional materials, and functions of a learning management system
  • Helped manage and conduct the 2020 transition to remote instruction with 982 faculty completing a six-workshop series and 1,119 attending at least one

Instructional Designer – UCLA Extension, Instructional Design and Learning Support

September 2015 to January 2019

  • Trained over 100 instructors a year on pedagogy and learning management systems; conducted webinars and in-person classes; communicated the importance of instructional design
